Further afield, there are so many attractions accessible from Brisbane that they would be difficult to list. Some natural beauties are the Great Barrier Reef, Fraser Island, Moreton Island, Bribie Island and a huge number of South East Queensland rainforests. Dolphin and whale watching, koala spotting or a visit to a local wildlife park are all options for animal lovers, while tours to Steve Irwin’s infamous Australian Zoo leave Brisbane on a regular basis.
